Tips to Feel Better

Sometimes life is just hard, these are my tips and tricks to make it less hard.

Practice gratitude: At the start of each day, take a few moments to reflect on the things in your life that you're grateful for. This can help shift your focus away from negative thoughts and feelings and towards a more positive outlook.

Set realistic goals: Identify a few small, achievable goals for the day and focus on accomplishing them. This can help you feel more productive and accomplished, which can boost your mood.

Challenge negative thoughts: If you find yourself engaging in negative self-talk or catastrophizing, challenge those thoughts with evidence-based facts. For example, if you're thinking "I'm a failure," challenge that thought with evidence of times when you succeeded or overcame challenges.

Take breaks: Take regular breaks throughout the day to rest and recharge. This can help prevent burnout and boost your energy and focus.

Practice mindfulness: Take a few moments throughout the day to focus on the present moment, without judgment. This can help reduce stress and increase feelings of calm and relaxation.

Practice self-care: Take care of your physical and emotional needs throughout the day. This can include things like eating well, staying hydrated, and engaging in activities that you enjoy.

Connect with others: Make time to connect with people who are important to you, whether that's through a phone call, text message, or in-person interaction. Social connection is important for our emotional well-being and can help boost mood and reduce stress.

CALL YOUR MOM: Sometimes mom is the answer! Call your person! Just do it. Mommy knows best.
